Resolve Card error message from Kodak Easyshare M590 and get back your memories

The Kodak introduces the world's thinnest digital camera i.e Kodak Easyshare M590. The camera features 14 megapixels for high quality pictures, 5x optical zoom with image stabilization and 2.7 inch Lcd display. It provides easy sharing facility of your photos using 'share button' which allow you to instantly tag pictures and e-mailing or uploading photos to Kodak gallery, You tube, Facebook, Flicker and Orkut sites. It supports MicroSD and Micro SDHC cards.

These Microsd Cards are very reliable but always prone to corruption due to mishandling and other Technical problems like file system corruption, virus infection and more.

Consider the scenario: Once you have gone to attend the wedding Ceremony of your friend. You were very happy and took lots of photos from your Kodak Camera. After the Completion of ceremony, you found that your camera is not working and got the error message mentioned below.

“Card error”

The above error message occurs due to corruption in SD card or pulling out SD card when camera is on.

To overcome with the following issue and access the data from Kodak Easyshare M590, follow these steps:
  • Connect the camera with computer using card reader
  • Make sure the card is properly inserted into the expansion slot.
  • Reformat the corrupted SD card or use a SD card recovery tool if you does not want to lose your photos
This is a myth that the data stored in a SD card after formatting can not be accessed. In case, you formatted the card accidentally, there is a chance that you can recover those data.

Make sure you select a tool which is read only and doesn't modify the original content. I found very reliable software called memory card photo recovery software which can recover lost/deleted photo, images, audio and video in all data loss situations. It is compatible with different types of SD cards like miniSD, MicroSD, SDHC, MMC, XD, CF cards. It works on windows and MAC machines.
